PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE
New initiatives are being taken by NRISA Executive Committee to provide you frequent information about forthcoming programs, highlighting these events, and other related activities of interest to NRISA family members. One of the highlights of NRISA management has been transparency in NRISA affairs, and this newsletter will further help in achieving the same objective.
NRISA was established in January 2008 with an initiative of a handful of members, and that has grown to over 250 strong family members. This growth is a reflection all past Presidents and Executive Committees and the current Executive Committee is following the same path paved by them.
Your contributions to this newsletter are welcome. I want to congratulate all members who have come forward to bring to new initiatives and I look forward to your support in making their initiatives a success. You all can make NRISA a vibrant association, for which we all can be proud off.
With the increase of the NRISA membership, it was natural to provide more activities rather than only 1 in the month which usually is on the 3rd Sunday.
We are trying to have interesting sessions on the 1st Saturday of every month from 11 am to 12.30 pm in the Bent Street Senior Citizen Hall at Northcote. There will be other programs on different dates and venues.
Those NRISA members who wish to participate in the activities mentioned in the newsletter may note the event dates and timings and contact the concerned person.
NRISA aims to provide you best service. Your comments and feedback are welcome.
